Known internationally as Wild Kong Oil and often called Kong Baril in French, this Richard Orlinski series turns the familiar gorilla into a figure of ecological confrontation. Kong raises or hurls an oil drum, converting a symbol of industrial power into a tense, suspended gesture. The drum adds narrative, direction and urgency to the faceted body, while monochrome, metallic and tagged finishes shift the work from warning sign to pop icon.
