Thinker Kong, also known as Kong Penseur, redirects Richard Orlinski’s most powerful animal toward introspection. The reference to Rodin is immediate, but the substitution of a gorilla changes the question: physical dominance is paused so that instinct, consciousness and human behavior can occupy the same pose. The compact seated body concentrates energy rather than releasing it, while faceted surfaces keep the sculpture visually active from every angle.
