Perfecto
Perfecto turns the black leather biker jacket into a portrait without a wearer. Richard Orlinski preserves the lapels, zippers, folds and squared shoulders that made the garment a symbol of rebellion, then freezes them in resin as a freestanding sculptural shell. Matte surfaces can recall worn leather, while tagged or brightly colored versions move closer to street and pop culture. By giving an empty jacket the presence of a body, the Perfecto collection explores identity through clothing, attitude and material illusion.
