A Gallery Built on Long-Term Relationships

Founded in 2010 by Bernard Markowicz, following a decade of experience with Opera Gallery, Markowicz Fine Art is an international contemporary art gallery with locations in Miami and Laguna Niguel, California.

Since its inception, the gallery has developed a distinctive program built on close and lasting relationships with artists, collectors, museums, designers, developers and cultural institutions.

At Markowicz Fine Art, we believe that the role of a gallery extends far beyond presenting and selling artworks. We identify singular artistic voices, support their development over time and create meaningful opportunities through exhibitions, strategic placements, institutional projects and access to an international network of collectors

Artist Representation and Our Collaboration with KAI

Our primary-market program brings together established and emerging artists working across painting, sculpture, photography and mixed media, including KAI, Carole A. Feuerman, Annalù, Eva Armisén and Beau Simmons.

At the heart of the gallery’s history is our long-standing relationship with KAI. Developed over more than a decade, this collaboration has evolved far beyond the traditional relationship between an artist and a gallery.

Bernard Markowicz is now an integral part of KAI’s studio, undertaking special missions focused on relationships with major collectors, museum projects and public art placements. This unique collaboration allows the gallery to support the artist’s vision with continuity, discretion and a deep understanding of both his work and his international collector base.

    Primary and Secondary Market Expertise

Markowicz Fine Art has expanded its activities through the creation of a dedicated Secondary Market Department, under the direction of Sébastien Laboureau, editor-in-chief of Banksy Explained.

The department advises collectors on acquisitions and resales, private sourcing, market analysis, provenance and condition review, as well as the strategic development of their collections. It provides access to carefully selected works by significant modern, postwar and contemporary artists.

This new expertise complements our primary-market program and allows Markowicz Fine Art to accompany collectors at every stage of their journey, from a first acquisition to the development, refinement or resale of an established collection.

    Art Advisory and Placements

Our team works closely with private collectors, corporations, architects, interior designers, hospitality groups and public institutions. We advise on individual acquisitions, complete collections, residential and commercial projects, institutional opportunities and large-scale public art placements.

Every project is approached with the same principles: artistic integrity, careful research, personal attention and absolute discretion.

At Markowicz Fine Art, art is not simply acquired. It is discovered, understood, placed and shared. Our purpose is to build lasting relationships between artists, collectors and the wider cultural world.
