Crocodile
The Crocodile holds a foundational place in Richard Orlinski’s work. Its elongated body, open jaws and armored profile condense survival instinct into an immediately legible silhouette, then replace natural skin with polished or faceted surfaces. Resin, metal, color and scale can make the animal appear playful, luxurious or confrontational without diminishing its primitive tension. This collection focuses on Orlinski’s sculptural variations of the crocodile, from compact editions to larger works that extend the predator’s presence across the surrounding space.
