Sculptures

Kaï began exploring sculpture more intensively during the COVID-19 period, using that moment of disruption to challenge himself with unfamiliar materials and processes. Bronze, stainless steel, and other sculptural media allowed the Imaginary Friend to move from image into physical presence. At a more intimate scale, these works transform concise narratives into objects that change as the viewer moves around them, with gesture, balance, reflection, and shadow becoming part of the story. Sculpture marked a decisive evolution in Kaï’s practice, opening the path from the wall and canvas toward volume, permanence, and space.
