Monumental sculptures
Kaï’s monumental sculptures represent the most recent expansion of his practice. Developed from the same emotionally direct narratives found in his smaller works, they are not simply enlarged versions: each project is reconsidered in relation to architecture, landscape, engineering, and the movement of the public. By bringing the Imaginary Friend into shared space, Kaï transforms personal themes such as love, struggle, hope, and responsibility into collective encounters. These works continue the public dimension of his earliest street interventions while replacing their temporary nature with scale, durability, and a lasting physical presence.
