Concrete works

The concrete works are Kaï's unique pieces — one of each, never editioned. Cement relief is one of the media he moves through most naturally, worked here directly as the ground of the image, sometimes with paint and paper, sometimes cast with bronze, so that the material carries as much of the work as the composition does. The collection revisits the subjects that run through his practice — Mending Love, Love vs Money, The Thinker, Balancing Act — at scales from around 60 cm to 1.50 m.
