Bildo Reliefo is the name Alain Godon gives to his work in relief: the image is built up in layers rather than laid flat, so that it catches the light and shifts as the viewer moves. The subjects belong to the Childish Art he has pursued since leaving pavement drawing behind — whimsical worlds carried by a deliberately childlike eye and a humour of his own. The pieces here run from around 30 to 60 cm.
