Coolfoot is Bigfoot lying down. Same character, same outsized feet carrying the same idea of a shared ground, but stretched out and at rest — and where the original stands relaxed, this one has given up standing altogether. The posture explains the format: these pieces are longer than they are tall, so the number in the title is the length, not the height. Zareski works without sketch or blueprint, most of his pieces taking shape in under an hour, and that directness suits a figure whose whole subject is ease.
