Roberto Matta’s first major retrospective, at the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1957, later shown in Minneapolis and Boston.
Fifteen years after acquiring Listen to Living, MoMA organised Matta’s first major retrospective in 1957. It travelled to the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and the ICA in Boston.
