Giving Tree (Cement) has minimal silhouettes and poetic symbolism, which reflect on the enduring power of kindness and the ways we sustain one another emotionally, much like a tree sustains life. In this cement and bronze relief, Kaï evokes generosity, and the quiet beauty of nurturing future growth. The textured cement surface—animated with expressive strokes of blue, green, yellow, and orange—creates an organic, almost wilderness-like setting. At the center, the adult IF waters the small tree and in the shadow the child IF reaches for an apple falling from the future full-grown tree bearing fruit.
