Andrew Cooper, affectionately known as Cooper, is a contemporary artist hailing from Evansville, Indiana, whose work is a vibrant celebration of domestic life. From an early age, Cooper's artistic vision was clear; a diary entry at seven boldly declared his dream of becoming an artist. Following this childhood prophecy, he embarked on a dynamic career that took him from the tranquil streets of Evansville to the energetic art scenes of Miami and Los Angeles.
In Miami, Cooper was recruited by a record label, but his heart remained in art. He eventually made his mark in Los Angeles with his exuberant wildflower murals, which drew the attention of prestigious brands like Coach NY, Adidas, and Vans, leading to high-profile collaborations. Despite this success, Cooper chose to return to his Indiana roots in 2019 to establish a studio where he could fully immerse himself in his creative process.
Cooper's work, recognized by Jay Rutland of Maddox, is characterized by a playful yet poignant exploration of everyday objects, blending nostalgia with a forward-looking optimism. His art transforms the mundane into the extraordinary, capturing the essence of personal memories and future dreams.
