PARKING ART ARCHITECTURE

Parking Art Architecture features Craig Robins, the developer behind the revival of the Miami Design District, who treated the neighbourhood’s parking garages as opportunities for art, architecture and design.

The best known, Museum Garage, holds up to 800 cars and has five facades by five different studios: WORKac, J. Mayer H., Clavel Arquitectos, Nicolas Buffe and Keenen/Riley. Each designed its section without seeing the others, in the spirit of the Surrealist game “exquisite corpse”.
