Alain Godon - World trip - Esmeralda
World Trip
In this episode of World Trip, Alain Godon’s video series, the painting Esmeralda is described and explored detail by detail.
Born in Bourges, France, in 1964, Godon is known for what he calls his “Childish Art”: vibrant colours, playful perspectives and a humorous, childlike view of the world. His paintings and bronze sculptures turn cities and their inhabitants into joyful, imaginative scenes, and this film invites viewers to look closely at one of them.
