Huile sur toile "Pleine lune" d'Alain Godon - Partie 1

The first of two episodes on Pleine Lune, the oil on canvas Alain Godon painted in 2024 to extend Après la pluie, le beau temps into a 360° panorama of the Grand-Place in Lille. Under snow and a huge full moon, the square fills with scenes of humour, poetry and current events — world leaders, the Yellow Vests, Mary Poppins and the artist's three dogs. Godon explains the composition, the challenge of joining the two canvases and the references hidden in the work.
