Art or Famous Patrick Pietropoli

Patrick Pietropoli is a contemporary artist who represents cityscapes and street scenes along with figural compositions and delicates nudes. Born in Paris in 1953, he studied at Sciences Po Paris and obtained a Master's degree in Ancient History. He paints the carefully articulated architecture of New-York, Paris, Rome and Venice as well as the intimate portrayal of the feminine figure always finding a perfect balance between freedom and form. Pietropoli realizes his painting with the aid of a brush and palette knife. His attention to detail, and his sensitive but deliberate use of a line, invite the viewer to take a personal look at the places.
