Carole A. Feuerman, American sculptor and pioneer of Superrealism, is the subject of the first part of Art or Famous, a four-part video series.

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1945 and raised in New York, Feuerman began her career as an illustrator and designer, which sharpened the close observation of anatomy, surface and gesture that defines her sculpture. More than five decades on, the human figure remains her central subject.
