Beau Simmons Documentary

This documentary introduces Beau Simmons, the American fine art photographer who works in medium and large format film to record the contemporary American West.

Born in 1990, Simmons began his career in fashion photography before turning to working ranches, cowboys and cowgirls, horses and the visual memory of Americana. His images combine documentary observation with carefully composed scenes, and his archival prints begin as film negatives that are developed and drum-scanned.
