A monumental presentation in Paris revisited Markus Klinko’s 2003 portrait of Beyoncé for Dangerously in Love.

During summer 2026, Oana Ivan Gallery in Paris presented a monumental limited-edition print of Markus Klinko’s portrait of Beyoncé, created for her 2003 debut solo album, Dangerously in Love.

Shown on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré as part of In Full Bloom, the photograph moved from the familiar scale of an album cover to a prominent gallery-window presentation.

In a July 23 interview with Us Weekly, Klinko reflected on the portrait’s creation and its continuing life beyond the original commission. The story of the 2003 session is told in Beyoncé: The Making of Dangerously in Love.
