LICHT FELD Gallery revisited Klinko’s Bowie photographs in an exhibition marking ten years since the musician’s death.
LICHT FELD Gallery in Basel presented photographs of David Bowie by Markus Klinko from January 3 to February 28, 2026.
Organized around the tenth anniversary of Bowie’s death, the exhibition brought together images made in 2001 and 2002. The selection included photographs associated with GQ’s Man of the Year coverage and the session for the Heathen album cover.
Seen together, these projects offered a focused look at the visual identities developed through Bowie and Klinko’s collaboration — the subject of David Bowie: Creating a Visual Persona.
