Beyond the West

Beyond the West is an exhibition presented at West Chelsea Contemporary in Austin, Texas, in 2026, featuring American fine art photographer Beau Simmons.

Known for his evocative photographs of the American West, Simmons explores Western life, equestrian culture and Americana through a distinctive visual language that combines documentary observation with carefully composed scenes. Working primarily with medium- and large-format film, he captures the landscapes, people and traditions that shape the identity of the contemporary West.
