Around the World in Eighty Works gathered Alain Godon’s compositions at Markowicz Fine Art in Miami, from February 12 to March 1, 2015.
The exhibition poster set the tone: a night view of London — Big Ben, the Palace of Westminster and a bridge over the Thames under a full moon — beside a bronze of the clock tower, the painting and the sculpture answering each other. The title promised a journey through the cities and landmarks that run through Godon’s work, from one continent to the next.
