In the Mirror — Woman of the Year

Carole Feuerman's hyperrealist sculptures were presented at Galerie Adriano Ribolzi in Monaco to coincide with the 12th Monte-Carlo Woman of the Year Award, held under the high patronage of Prince Albert II. Best known for her lifelike depictions of swimmers, rendered in painstaking detail down to individual water droplets, Feuerman has spent decades exploring themes of femininity, resilience, and self-reflection through the human form. Her work has previously been shown at institutions including the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery and the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence. At Galerie Adriano Ribolzi, long known for its focus on modern and post-war masters, her sculptures offered a fitting counterpart to an evening honoring women whose achievements, much like her own subjects, reward a closer look.
