Home marks Eva Armisén’s first solo museum exhibition in Taiwan. Presented at Keelung Museum of Art from June 12 through September 13, 2026, the exhibition invites visitors into a warm and emotionally direct world shaped by the artist’s distinctive figures, vibrant colors and close observation of everyday life.
Taking home as both a physical and emotional idea, the exhibition explores companionship, memory, belonging and the relationships that transform ordinary moments into lasting experiences.
Home as an Emotional Space
Rather than treating home as a fixed address, Armisén approaches it as a place created through affection, shared experience and memory. Families, friends and familiar scenes become points of entry into a broader reflection on how private emotions can extend beyond the individual and resonate across cultures.
The exhibition brings together signature works that bridge contemporary painting and popular visual culture. Armisén’s simplified forms, luminous palette and immediately recognizable characters give visual clarity to subjects that are intimate yet universal: companionship, absence, reunion, care and the need to belong.

A Landmark Exhibition in Taiwan
Presented across galleries 101–103 of Keelung Museum of Art, Home is curated by Insoon Cho, Director of THEO Gallery. The exhibition marks an important new chapter in Eva Armisén’s relationship with audiences across Asia and her first institutional museum presentation in Taiwan.
By August 2026, while the exhibition was still underway, more than 140,000 visitors had attended, making Home the most visited exhibition in the history of Keelung Museum of Art. The exceptional public response also led the museum to extend its opening hours on weekends.
Home remains on view through September 13, 2026.
