Palm Trees & Beach Ball Monumental (6 ft)

InquireThe significance of this sculpture lies in its direct visual relationship to one of Romero Britto’s most recognizable Miami Beach installations.
The public palm trees and beach ball composition at Fifth & Alton was conceived as a colorful gateway to South Beach. Commissioned during the development of the Fifth & Alton retail center, the installation became a prominent example of Britto’s integration of Pop Art with the urban landscape.
The present sculpture was separately commissioned through Britto Central in 2019. The original sales order documents a six-foot outdoor composition for a private residence, accompanied by production renderings approved by the purchaser.
Its monumental format distinguishes it from the small limited-edition resin sculptures associated with the same composition.
The collector describes this commission as a one-of-one work. Formal confirmation of this edition status, together with the final fabrication details, remains pending.
